Winter has become my life

I remember the Spring.
The lush vibrant green that painted the ground and the trees.
The budding of new life brings hope.
The contrast of the green against the bright blue stretching from sky to sky brings a joyful smile to my face.
The rain bringing in a sense of regeneration of what once was dead.

I remember the Summer.
The feel of the green grass underneath my worn feet.
The glow and heat of the sun beating down on my browning neck.
The coolness of the breeze and the refreshment of the water on the beach.
The product of labor in the garden grows evident with harvesting the food.
The break from life's activities as vacations become welcomed for rest and enjoyment.

I remember the Fall.
The changing colors of the leaves adding beauty among the treetops.
The leaves littering the ground, bringing enjoyment from playing among them.
The cool air flowing in to balance out the heat of the summer sun.
The scent of harvest giving you the preparation for the harshness to come.

I currently regard the Winter.
The dull clouds that produce an eerie gloom over the terrain.
The lifeless appearance of anything that once showed character.
The bitter harshness of the cold deadens anything that dares enter its space.
The dreary feeling that makes one want to curl up and sleep until the new life comes.

Winter has become my life.

But remember... the spring comes even after the longest winter and what had died is brought back to life. But, things cant come back to life by their own means...
