Open-Ended Script

Each moment times itself perfectly into the plot of our lives.
Each person, a character, that carries as much weight (or as little weight) as is necessary to deepen the plot.
It's an art mastered, not by us, but by the Director. He cues each person in at the right moment, so perfectly that one might think it surreal rather than divinely orchestrated.
We, the actors, are merely characters intertwined into the lives of others.
Each character the leading role of their own show.

Imagine a network playing the lives of the people in your life. Each person the main role in their own show, yet a supporting actor in the television shows of others.

More often than not, we like to attempt to star in the shows of other people. At that point, we ignore the wishes of the Director and self-proclaim and deem ourselves the director and star of their lives.

When we ignore the direction and art of the Director, we add unnecessary strife and struggle into the plot. We open the world to a broken pattern of jealousy, anger, drunkenness, disrespect, hate, abuse, impurity, a want for evil, and other such things that proceed from a fallen world.
We ruin the shows and plots of others and care not for the role of support we could play.

Let us consider.
Let us ponder what it would be like if each of us acted in accordance with the instructions of the Director, both in our lives and in the lives of others.
What would happen if we stopped hogging the spotlight in other people's shows and allowed the Director to guide where He wants?
What would happen if we allowed ourselves to focus primarily on our own show in a way that perfectly displayed the intention and art of the Director?
What would happen if we only involved ourselves into the lives of others as much as the Director has allowed or regulated?
